Greenlight Competition

The second annual Greenlight Business Model Competition has concluded.
Greenlight was held at Hannah Community Center in East Lansing. Coordinated by Spartan Innovations, part of the MSU Innovation Center, the event aims to expand entrepreneurship and small business success in Michigan. Greenlight had a record number of attendees and 25% more submissions to pitch over the previous year.

Spartan Innovations, L3C, is focused on helping to turn MSU innovations – ideas, technologies, creative activities – into successful Michigan businesses. We provide five key resources to support the launch of more MSU start-ups:

 University-wide entrepreneurship education;

 Student stipends to support participation in hands-on new business learning situations;

 CEO mentors-in-residence to help manage new business start-up projects;

 Access to a network of external new venture investors;

 Gap funding to support the earliest stages of MSU technology development.

The 2014 GreenLight Business Model Competion has successfully finished.
